Hi, first I would like to say that your game looks amazing, very impressive that you not only can get the coding done but also the tons of high quality artwork.

My question is concerning the daytime lighting , what kind of surface shading lightmodel do you use, and what kind of post rendering effects? Do you use some kind of light scattering atmosphere also?

Hey...glad you like how it's looking Very Happy

I'm just doing standard diffuse + specular + shadows for the high quality lighting. For medium/low I just do diffuse.

I do motion blur / bloom as a post-process....I really need to get HDR/tonemapping in there right now things get really washed out sometimes.

Also I'm faking the atmospheric scattering by using a bunch of 1D textures for each aspect of the sky [though the sky is actually a 2D texture w/sliding u-coord].

Thanks for posting.
