"Some muckety-muck architecture magazine was interviewing Will Wright about SimCity, and they asked
him a question something like "which ontological urban paridigm most influenced your design of the simulator,
the Exo-Hamiltonian Pattern Language Movement, or the Intra-Urban Deconstructionist Sub-Culture Hypothesis?"
He replied, "I just kind of optimized for game play."

Make sure you have a lot of time for people to test the game before release and take all the input you can from feedback forms. We used to do this a lot at school and it worked really well to have people rate your game 1-10, worst part of the game, best part of game. It's hard to see the perspective of the game just from yourself. The worst part of the game, even if they dont hate anything, they will still get you feedback to make it better. I dont know if Paradox is doing beta testing for you, but you should also send out some extra ones for direct feedback as well.
Would suck to get a score less than you want to achieve in reviews. |

Yes we are doing all kinds of BETA testing. The game is an online F2P so we can upgrade it forever. _________________ I run this place.
