Btw. snoop thanks for the connect to that Grim guy, but I'm using another artist for the guns.
These guns are fully normal mapped...ie: color+normal+specular maps per-gun...Grim didn't use normal maps for his weapons.

Also he was sort of expensive, and had to go back to school....so he couldn't make my deadlines.

aight it's ok anyway...as long as we gonna have some good guns in game later on... Very Happy

Yea man, what do you think of the normal mapped, etc. models that are posted above? Do you think they are as good as the other models? I asked him to make a P22 and I was going to pay him, but he had school and shit I guess. I <3 my weapons guy, he's solid as hell. He even did animations etc. on the guns no problem. So, I guess it's all good.

I'm curious what you think of his AK verses Grimm's AK?

Yea, grimm said my current guns were "not great" though personally I think these new guns are much better than grimms, anyways grimm painted his guns, and didn't use any normal/specular maps, the lighting was baked into them pretty much, which is not going to work for my game engine anyways. I want true real-time lighting/normal mapping on all objects [except city/cars].

Wait till you see the new M4 that my artist just made it looks sick, like a photograph Very Happy
