mapping is one of my high interest, i have mapped gta san andreas and created my own game mode, but i'm trying to get more advanced. dgreen any sugestions on what i can use to map like this? if you can release this info.

You can use the City Editor included in the game to make cities...if you want more technical information, read through some older entries in my developer's journal http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/mod/journal/journal.asp?jn=323649 it details almost every aspect of the game's development.

It's a very complex / broad topic [mapping] depending on how technical you want to get with it, in terms of how things are done under the covers. Check out the dev journal and let me know if that's the kinda stuff you're looking for.
