Just kidding these are old...still I doubt any of you remember seeing them back in October 2007. I found them when I was googling for some stuff...for some reason google indexes my website / dev journal on the top page for some pretty common gamedev and some random things Surprised

For instance, I just typed this search to check how high this image would come up out of 1.46 million http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&source=hp&q=swat+high&gbv=2&aq=f&oq=&aqi= or you can just search for "SWAT model" and a bunch of my different comes up on 2nd page Cool

I was searching on google images and was liek daaamn what game is that, and it turned out to be my game Confused Laughing Laughing Laughing

-_-

Since these were taken back in 2007, there is NO normal mapping OR self-shadowing on these car models. There is normal mapping on the humans, but it's somewhat incorrect, but there is no self shadowing.

I can do all this in my engine now [ full self shadowing, way better normal mapping ], so Urban Empires will look much improved. I have some new images, but I don't want to make them public yet :-/ But

I will be posting some new UE screens very soon.

Anyways, these are from October 2007 [ look at the gun, the Glock 17, it is amazing high quality Surprised ] -

He replied, "I just kind of optimized for game play."
