Vladimir - Hmmm that's a tough one. The game requires pixel shader 1.1 & vertex shader 1.1 because of the hardware skinning.

I might be able to get it working without using any pixel shaders...but really a Geforce 3 is too old to run the game well. You'll need a moderate system to play the game.

About a year ago I got a $500 dollar computer as one of my test rigs [AMD 2.0GHZ | 512MB RAM | 512MB Geforce 7600GS ($130)] it gets anywhere from 100+ FPS at the lowest settings to ~25FPS at the highest.

You could probably get this comptuer for ~ $400 dollars these days, I would recommend having a computer with at least those specs to get the most out of the game. I guess price is the limiting factor, I wouldn't expect most users to have a $3000 dollar computer with the latest hardware though I recommend it. I think targeting a $400 dollar computer is acceptable.

Mayyybe, I've got decals on dynamic meshes half coded up.... though I don't think that'll make it to the final build. Don't worry it should be bloody enough :-X

I read on one of the threads that you only have a month left. I should have read the date you posted it, because now I cannot find it anymore. I am hoping that you ment a month till you ready it for beta. I am surprised I thought it was still to early for beta, not that I'm complaining. (Or trying to rush you) Anyway nice job

I'm about to do a major over-haul of the city editor in the next few days...the new system will be perfect for allowing streets to be named...thanks for reminding me Very Happy
